WTA boss Steve Simon: ‘Peng Shuai is safe and we know where she is’

Invited to discuss several hot topics for the women’s circuit this Wednesday at the Internationaux de Strasbourg, WTA boss Steve Simon once again gave his support to Chinese player Peng Shuai, assuring that the WTA “knows she’s safe and knows where she is”. A statement that echoes the announcement on April 13 of the return of China to the calendar of the women’s circuit from next September, almost two years after its departure following the disappearance of Peng Shuai.
