The Judo World Championships brought a blessing of medals for the blue and white delegation.

23-year-old Israeli Inbar Lanir won the gold medal in all bouts at the World Judo Championships in Doha, Qatar, in the under 78 kg category at the end of a determined performance. In the final she defeated the French Audrey Audrey Tcheumeo. With her gold medal, Lanir became only the third representative of Israel to win a World Judo Championship, following in the footsteps of her predecessors Sagi Muki (2019) and Yarden Gerbi (2013). The World Championships in Doha, which ended on Saturday, were highly successful for Israel, with Peter Paltchik (men’s under 100 kilograms) and Raz Hershko (women’s 78 kilograms) each winning a bronze medal.
