We therefore expected that the Bucks, carried by the brilliant Giannis Antetokounmpo, would make short work of the Floridians. However, it is almost the opposite that happened. Milwaukee, surprised from game 1 on his floor, had been able to equalize from the start. But Miami, guided by a stratospheric Jimmy Butler, did not drop anything on its floor before going to air-condition the Fiserv Forum, after extension. In the Conference semi-finals, the Heat found themselves opposed to New York. The Knicks, they got the better of Cleveland, without really shuddering either (4-1).

Boston – Philadelphia, the clash will take place
If the poster for the first semi-final is clearly surprising in the East, the second, on the other hand, did not thwart any forecast. Regarding the Western Conference, the first semi-final was expected by many. Denver, the regular season leader, barely left Minnesota a game in overtime to close the deal in continuity in front of their audience (4-1). The enormous Nikola Jokic and his people will probably face more adversity in the next round against Phoenix. The Suns, on the other hand, had the slightest favor in the forecasts when they faced the Los Angeles Clippers. Finally, Kevin Durant and his family, even led from the start, then revved up to put on the victories like pearls (4-1). Will they be able to stand up to the Nuggets considered serious clients in the title race?
The Lakers hit hard, Curry saves -again- Golden Stade
Reigning NBA champion, Golden State could fear a premature exit from the road. Facing Sacramento, third in the West, and with home disadvantage, the Warriors suffered. Led 2-0, then beaten on their floor in Game 6, Klay Thompson’s teammates relied on a historic Stephen Curry at 50 points to snatch Game 7 with the Kings (4-3). In the Conference semi-finals of these NBA 2023 Playoffs, the champion will have to defeat the Los Angeles Lakers. Again, against Memphis, second in the regular season, LA had reason to tremble. Finally, LeBron James, still as precious, and his family blew up the Grizzlies in Game 6 to conclude in style (125-85, 4-2). Lakers – Warriors, a second round that makes everyone salivate!
