Vaucouleurs. Music and sport on the badminton club menu

For one evening, Espace Lyautey set sail for the islands, Reunion Island in particular, at the invitation of the badminton club.

Around the family of Alexandre Adolphe, president of the club, the volunteers made every effort to transport their guests beyond the oceans by offering flavors, sounds and dances of this distant island. The atmosphere was immediately provided by a welcome punch, drunk in moderation of course, and a few samosas. And what about the Creole salad and the famous sausage rougail which kept all their promises!

Folk dance demonstrations

In the evening, the young dancers of the Vignot association “Le P’tit straw-en-queue” specializing in folk dancers, offered a much appreciated demonstration. The evening was launched and lasted very late, and the participants already imagined that it could happen again.

On the sporting side, the badminton club is also doing very well, as evidenced by the good results obtained by the various doubles involved in the recent tournament organized by the Pagny-sur-Meuse club.
