The LJBL finals did not take place in 2020 and 2021, thus “May Madness” returned last year after a three-year break. The difference was noticeable – in the spring of 2019, 12-13-year-old girls took to the field, while in 2022, 15- and 16-year-old girls played for the cadet national team.

In the regular season, 17 teams participated in the U15 age group. Bertāns Valmiera basketball school won all the games, finishing the main tournament of the Super League with a record of 14-0. RBJSS Rīdzene, Daugavpils, Riga/Centres, Ogre/Ikškile, Jugla, TTP and Jelgava ranked next.
