Young, Stroud and Richardson were among the first chosen in the Draft and Brady recommended that they not trust themselves so much for having been one of the first, that had nothing to do with success.
“First overall pick in the Draft isn’t a big deal. It’s great, yeah, because you have a good chance. You probably get paid more than anybody for a while, but it’s not everything,” Brady said.
However, his most reaching words were for Will Lewis, a quarterback who was selected in the position 33 of the second round.
“Getting taken in the second round isn’t really a big deal, everyone knows that; I was drafted in the place 199 and I survived it all,” Tom Brady said.
