Three departures from Olomouc, Greššák, Poulolo and Vaněček finish

Lukáš Greššák, Florent Poulolo and David Vaněček left Olomouc after their contracts expired. Sigma tried to sign new contracts with the trio of players, but finally agreed with them on the end of cooperation. The Hanáci reported it on their website.

“All three were offered new contracts, taking into account their long-term state of health, possibly game use. In the end, after fair negotiations, we agreed to part ways,” stated sports director Ladislav Minář.

Defensive midfielder Greššák came to Olomouc in the summer of 2019. The 34-year-old Slovak played 70 league matches for Sigma and scored two goals.

A native of Martinique, Poulolo, who also holds French citizenship, joined Hanáky in September 2020 from the Spanish Getafe B-team. The 26-year-old stopper scored 62 starts and three goals in the Czech league.

Thirty-two-year-old striker Vaněček became a player for Olomouc the summer before last. However, due to an injured knee and subsequent treatment, he did not play for almost a year and a half with a short break. He started only 19 league games for Olomouc and scored two goals. Previously, he also worked in Pilsen, with which he won the title, Jihlava, Hradec Králové and Teplice.

Already on Monday, Olomouc informed about the transfer of national team forward Mojmír Chytil to Slavia Prague. Coach Václav Jílek’s players took sixth place in the just-ended league season.
