Antonio Pilo was born in Santhià, but he had practically always lived in the city of the Red Towers, where he worked as a worker at Olivetti, until his well-deserved retirement.

For over 40 years he was technical manager of the Judo Club Ivrea. He was a real teacher for entire generations of young Canavese people who, under his guidance, learned the secrets of judo, grew up and trained following those life lessons that were naturally incorporated into the daily teachings that he imparted. on the tatami.
