The triumphant march continues
Despite a few injury-related absences, the Neuenburg Atomics clinched two more victories against the Darmstadt Whippets thanks to a solid team effort (12:2 and 9:1). The baseball players from Markgrflerland remain unbeaten in the second Bundesliga with eight wins in eight matches. In the first game in Darmstadt, pitcher Luca Mayer underscored his class with ten strikeouts in seven innings. In the second match, the Atomics were narrowly ahead (2:1) until the fifth inning, before the Neuchâtel offensive literally exploded with seven runs. On Saturday (12:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.) the Hedgehogs Heidelberg are guests at the Atomics.
