The first team to be promoted from the Turkish Basketball 1st League to the Basketball Super League in the 2023-23 season has been announced. Contemporary Bodrum Sports Club, which defeated Depomaxx Haremspor 101-84 in the match played today, succeeded in being promoted to the Basketball Super League.
With this result, Çağdaş Bodrum got its 25th win in its 28th game in the league, and guaranteed to qualify for the BSL with two weeks left.
Muğla team made an agreement with Ender Arslan, who was one of the unforgettable guards of Turkish basketball during the season and most recently worked as an assistant coach at Bahçeşehir College.
Arslan has been coaching Çağdaş Bodrum in his first head coaching experience since February 18.
