Saturday May 27, 2023, from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., the 22 km of greenway between Bagnoles-de-l’Orne Normandy and Briouze will be punctuated by workshops and activities of all kinds.
You will have the opportunity to explore natural sites such as the Marais du Grand-Hazé in Briouze, the Lande-Forêt pond in Grais, the Andaines forest and tourist sites such as the leisure center in La Ferté-Macé and Bagnoles with its emblematic places (the St Ortaire priory, the thermal baths, the Belle Époque district, the casino, the lake, the arboretum and the castle then the Roc au Chien).
Seven municipalities have set up events or stands for local products, musical entertainment, etc.
Along the way
Briouze. From 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., entertainment in the station car park, various demonstrations by associations (cyclists), brass band and catering. Contact: town hall, 02.33.62.20.10.
The Menil-de-Briouze. From 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., entertainment at the Arthan level crossing: wooden games by the festival committee; presentation of the various craftsmen of the town (fustier, stud farm, etc.), visit of the chapel of Longuenoë by the friends of the chapel. Lonlay-le-Tesson. From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., photo exhibition in the town, sale of drinks and cakes (at the crossroads near the village). Contact: Priscillia Guillard, 06.33.79.86.97.
The Gray. From 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., entertainment for the general public “La passion du bois”, exit from the greenway towards the Etang de Forêt: wood sculptor, pruning by the MFR of Pointel (subject to confirmation).

Beauvain. From 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., the Beauvain Histoire et Patrimoine association will offer folk musical entertainment weather permitting at the Pont des Aulnays. A heritage presentation panel will be on display.

La Ferte-Mace. From 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., on the forecourt of the station, pancake sale, musical entertainment with the La Chapelloise brass band, presence of the Friends of Games and Découverte du Bocage Ornais associations. Presence of the Tendance vélo store. Pause vélo radio broadcast by the La Ponceuse association, mobile bike exhibition. Come and discover or rediscover the old refurbished railway line.

Cars. From 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the racecourse, disc golf entertainment, information on the benefits of Nordic walking at the stand, refreshment bar will be provided by the APE when the hikers arrive.

Escapade
At 10 a.m., getaway to the three lakes. Cycle route linking the three green resorts: Putanges-le-Lac, La Ferté-Macé and Bagnoles-de-l’Orne.
Signposted route, independently. Wearing a helmet compulsory for children under 12 and recommended beyond, yellow vest compulsory.

Based on the principle that physical activity is good for the heart, body and mind, its regular practice can prevent and help manage heart disease, type 2 diabetes and cancer responsible for almost three quarters of deaths in the world.
At the local level, coordination has been established between the Maison Sport Santé de l’Orne and the Pierre Noal Health Center in Bagnoles, as well as the sports services of the municipalities of La Ferté Macé and Sport EPIC Bagnoles de l’Orne Tourisme with the desire to create a one-stop shop for the user. Sessions are offered every week: at La Ferté-Macé, fitness room, football while walking; in Bagnoles, Nordic walking, archery, cycling, adapted tennis (women with breast cancer).
Led by MSA Mayenne Orne Sarthe, the “Move for your health” event will take place on Saturday, at the same time as the greenway festival, from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., in the car park of La Ferté Macé station, and from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Bagnoles-de-l’Orne-Normandie racecourse.
