Team Germany wins again – German Judo Federation

The Moroccan team fight against Austria showed that they are to be reckoned with, but our athletes were well prepared.

Losseni Kone as a starting fighter, while failing to score with many approaches of sumi-gaeshi and o-soto-gari and having to pay close attention to his opponent, after half a minute in Golden SCore he scores with tani-otoshi and received waza-ari. It’s 1-0.

Seija Ballhaus as the next fighter scored after a minute with a hold and won 2:0.

Also Alexander Gabler receives ippon for a Seoi-nage after just over two minutes of fighting time, the score is 3:0.

Miriam Butkereit receives ippon after a little over a minute, is arrested to be on the safe side, from which the Moroccan was able to free herself after a few seconds. This ippon is withdrawn. A good minute before the end of the fight time then another hold and it’s 4:0.

Now Germany is in the semifinals against France.

Against Kazakhstan wins the German team 4-0 and is now in round 3

After a bye, Kazakhstan are the first opponents at the Mixed Team World Championships.

Now Germany needs one more point to win the first team fight. Alexander Gabler uses his special chokes in the Golden Score, the Kazakh knocks and Germany is 4-0 in the next round.
