Switzerland Tourism promotes its sporting activities in Paris

Switzerland Tourism, the national tourism promotion organization responsible for highlighting Switzerland as a country for vacations and congresses, is joining forces with Le Vieux Campeur to offer Paris an experience in the heart of the Swiss summer.

From June 7 to 10, 2023, Lateran Streetin the 5th arrondissement of Paris, will be privatized and transformed into a village of chalets in the colors of Switzerland.

In the program, introduction to typical Swiss outdoor activities such as climbing with the mountaineering brand Mammut or cycling/mountain biking with BMCdiscovery of woodworking thanks to the wooden toy company Trauffer, and of course 100% Swiss snacks.

The objective is to allow Ile-de-France residents to enjoy an alpine break before the summer holidays and to discover more about the diversity of activities, traditions and tastes of the terroir with which Switzerland abounds.

Switzerland Tourism wants to give a taste, literally and figuratively, of what the Swiss summer can offer the French. Neighboring country, the destiantion is very easily accessible by public transport from the Paris region thanks to the many rail connections linking Paris to the main cities of Switzerland by direct TGV Lyria (Geneva, Lausanne, Zurich and Basel). These international connections are supplemented by a Swiss public transport network of more than 29,000 kilometers across the whole country by train, bus and boat.
