Surfing, extreme sports and DJ sets for the 9th Kerou Beach Party at Clohars-Carnoët – Quimperlé

For its 9th edition, the Kerou Beach Party will resume the formula that has made it successful in recent years. The Quimperlois Constant Le Dayo and his friends from Kerou Beach will offer two days of shows, Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 May, on the most beautiful beach in Pouldu, in Clohars-Carnoët. “This year, we are going to highlight the culture of surfing with surfing “demos” and “contests”, but also an exhibition and a “Decorate your board” workshop”, explains the president of the association.

For the whole family

The 2022 edition was a resounding success with several thousand people coming to Kerou. “We had very good weather and I think that the events organized in Quimperlé, the Enez Fest and the water-jump, made it possible to talk more about the Kerou Beach Party. There will still be plenty of entertainment on offer over two days from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m..” The program covers everything. In addition to surfing, naturally at home in Kerou, BMX freestyle is the showcase of the event since the beach is set up for shows worthy of the X-games. Mountain-boarding is in the same spirit and there are many activities taking place on the beach: ventrigliss, paint ball archery, beach volleyball, games… Along the coast activities and pilates sessions are also proposed and there will be a fresco created by the urban graffiti artist Takir.

DJs and kites

Music also plays an important role at the Kerou Beach party, seven DJs will set the mood and, this year, kites will also be in the spotlight. “We stay in the beach spirit with activities for everyone and a workshop to learn how to make kites”. On the festive side, the evenings will continue at the Big Blue until 1 a.m.
