Strong cross between Antonio Casale and coach of Envigado for threats to player who scored own goal | soccer trivia

The controversy in Colombian soccer has not stopped, firstly due to the unusual goal against Jhon Banguera, a player from Envigado FC, which led to Deportivo Pasto’s 2-1 victory, their qualification to the semifinal home runs of the BetPlay I-2023 League and the elimination of Junior from Barranquilla.

The play raised comments and even suspicions, as some dared to point out the player about a match fixing for the victory of the Nariño club, to the detriment of Junior, who, although he beat Huila 0-2, did not reach the top eight in the championship.

Immediately, social networks exploded to comment on the curious play, as many thought badly about the goal against the orange team.

One of the trills on Twitter that attracted the most attention was that of Antonio Casale. The RCN Radio and ESPN Colombia journalist warned about the own goal, and many responded with doubts.

Banguera received hostility from social networks, and even received threats for his mistake. This was confirmed by Alberto Suárez, coach of Envigado FC.

“They are threatening him in an irrational way. It is complex, because it is not just Banguera, it is the mother, father and brother who began to be threatened. They are threatening you in an unreasonable way. I told him to be calm, that you don’t have to read things, but you don’t have to isolate yourself either because this is part of the game and there is a chance that this will happen.

Later, coach Suárez pointed out Casale for “generating violence.”

“What happens is that those who point it out today, starting with Mr. Casale, who was the one who started the whole issue, do not have enough patience to understand that this activity is like that, firstly because they did not play football.”

Antonio Casale’s harsh response to Alberto Suárez

Casale found out about Alberto Suárez’s statements in Radio Bluewhile the journalist was doing his program in RCN Radio. Thus, he reacted on social networks to respond to the Envigado FC coach and treat him as an “opportunist”.

“I want to be very clear, Professor Alberto Suarez. I condemn any manifestation of violence, in this case the sad threats against your player. Now, he is not opportunistic, it is not the commentators’ fault, he is one of the violent ones, ”he published on his Twitter account.
