Four teams are still alive in the fight for the South Regional stage of the Copa do Brasil de Flag Football that is being held this weekend in Curitiba. This Sunday morning (14/5), Floripa Ghosts, Coritiba Crocodolies, Tapejara Dragons and Guardian Saints will play in the semifinals and the right to play the decision of the competition.
The tournament started with two matches at 8:30 am this Saturday (13/5). In field 1, Floripa Ghosts ignored Paraná Guardian Saints and won by 68 to 0. At the same time, but in field 2, Coritiba Crocodiles overcame Tapejara Dragons by 39 to 6. A little later, Tapejara Dragons won Paraná HP by 14 to 12. At the same time, Paraná Guardian Saints won a disputed match against T-Rex Flag Football by 13 to 12.

On Saturday afternoon, Floripa Ghosts overcame T-Rex by 52 to 15, while Coritiba Crocodiles beat Paraná HP in the classic from Paraná by 46 to 18. A little later, Floripa Ghosts beat Coritiba Crocodiles by 49 to 38.
Closing the group stage, two games were played at 16:30. T-Rex Flag Football beat Tapejara Dragons by 38 to 0, while Paraná HP was victorious in the Paraná classic against Guardian Saints by 28 to 8.
On Sunday morning, at 10 am, the semifinals of the South Regional of the Copa do Brasil de Flag Football will be played. In a group they face the undefeated Floripa Ghosts and Tapejara Dragons. In the other bracket, Coritiba Crocodiles and Guardian Saints will compete for a place in the final.
In the early afternoon, at 1 pm, the 5th place match will take place between Paraná HP and T-Rex Flag Football. A little later, at 2:30 pm, the decision for 3rd place among the losers of the semifinals takes place. To close the competition, the champion will be known from 16h.
