Several Toulousians would have refused to wear rainbow flocking to fight against homophobia

For the 35th day of Ligue 1 which is being held this weekend, the LFP has renewed its campaign to fight against homophobia, a small tradition for five seasons. Symbolically, the numbers of all the jerseys of the first and second division formations are flocked with a rainbow pattern.

More according The Dispatch, this action would not be to the liking of some players in the Toulouse squad. According to the Occitan daily, five TFC players refused to wear this rainbow jersey, and therefore to participate in the reception of Nantes this Sunday.

In this context, Phillipe Montanier has chosen to select 25 players for this meeting, which is more than usual. Only 20 of them can be entered on the match sheet. The Dispatch specifies that the club hopes to convince several of these five players to change their minds, but two of them have already indicated their refusal.
