“I was so excited when Anna Wintour invited the 3 of us to the Met Gala,” the 41-year-old wrote ahead of the red carpet appearance, accompanying an Instagram post that included photos with her husband Alexis Ohanian showing her baby bump beneath the black dress can be seen.
The American ended her extraordinary career last year. In September 2017 she gave birth to her daughter Olympia, and there were complications at birth. First an emergency caesarean had to be done, then Williams suffered a pulmonary embolism. Only six months later she continued her career.
