After a few statements, Romário made his candidacy official for the presidency of América. In 2009, the former player was America’s football manager, now he aims to be president of the Rio de Janeiro club. Voting is scheduled for November this year.
On social networks, the former player celebrated the feat and said that the decision was motivated by his late father, who was an América fan.
