Roland-Garros: Lokoli and Blancaneaux survivors, Les Bleues inspired: the results of the 2nd day of qualifying

In the wake of an interesting start to the season which saw him reach a Challenger final in Nouméa and qualify for the big picture at the Australian Open, Laurent Lokoli, 198th in the world, started very well against the Belarusian Egor Gerasimov whom he beat in two sets (6-3, 7-5) in 1h37 of play. On the same court number 7, Geoffrey Blancaneaux, 161st, imitated him against the Turkish Cem Ilkel (6- 4, 7-5) in just under two hours (1h59).
