Roberta Bellinaso is the new absolute regional champion of traditional bow in the 3D specialty.

The Valdilanese on Sunday 7 May on the field of the Iuvenilia Archers in Villar Focchiardo (TO) won the coveted title in its first participation in the Piedmontese regional championship after a match that saw it qualify fourth and secure the last place available to enter the individual clashes and win all clashes until the final victory.

Not satisfied with the individual victory, he also conquered, with his teammate Cesare Lafranco, the third place in the traditional arc mixed team.

Excellent result also for Massimo Galizzi among the compounds who becomes regional vice-champion, narrowly touching the final victory and Cesare Lafranco who gets third place in the traditional arc.

The winning streak of the Arcieri del Sesia had already started the week before in which all the athletes involved in the 3D competition in Turin at the Salgari Campus in Turin, despite the torrential rain, had gone on to the podium with Cesare Lafranco first and Roberta Bellinaso second both in the traditional bow, Massimo Galizzi third in the compound and the bronze medal of the men’s team with Roberto Tirelli, Cesare Lafranco and Massimo Galizzi.

In the specialty of the 50m compound plate it was Cinzia Tomaselli’s turn to bring home another medal thanks to her second place in the women’s master category in the Archers of the Alps competition held in Rivoli (TO) on 30 April.

Even earlier at the Hunter&Field 12+12 competition in Castiglione Olona (VA) on April 23, the Valsesian sports club had obtained a double silver medal thanks to the usual Roberta Bellinaso and Giona Di Mitro in the traditional bow.
