Robert Johnson (born May 27, 1995) is an American professional basketball player who plays for the ADA Blois Basket 41 in the Pro A Championship. He played varsity for the Indiana Hoosiers.

Robert Johnson averaged 12.8 points and 2.5 assists per game as a junior at Indiana. He announced that he wanted to join the NBA draft but ultimately chose to return to the Hoosiers.[1] As a senior, Robert Johnson averaged 14.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game.[2] Robert Johnson was named by the coaches in the All-Big Ten with the mention “honorable”. At the end of his time with Indiana, he became the 21st leading scorer with a total of 1,413 points.[3]

Having not been “drafted” in the 2018 NBA Draft, he represents the Atlanta Hawks during the NBA summer league in Las Vegas and Salt Lake City. Robert Johnson played for the Wisconsin Herd in his “rookie” season averaging 7.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game. On August 8, 2019, he joined Polish team MKS Dąbrowa Górnicza.[4]

On December 15, 2019, he signed for Parma which plays in the VTB United League[5], a league of eastern countries. On July 16, 2020, Robert Johnson signs a 2-year contract extension with Parma.[6]

On January 21, 2021, he joined the Turkish team of Lokman Hekim Fethiye Belediyespor which plays in the BSL league.[7] His average per game is 19.7 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.1 assists. He then returned to Italy, to Pallacanestro Cantù and on January 19, 2022, he joined the squad of Legia Warszawa of the Polish Basketball League.[8]

On August 1, 2022, he signed a contract with Napoli Basket, a team in the Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) league.[9]

On January 9, 2023, he joined ADA Blois Basket 41, which is playing Pro A for the first time.[10]
