But it probably won’t be that simple, because Řezníček still has a contract in Brno. There is no doubt that his goal-scoring maneuvers attracted attention. “When I look across the league, for example, Slovácko needs a striker like salt, or Pardubice. I will find four or five teams that would take him from the spot,” believes an expert in the Sport.cz studio.

Folprecht admits that from the beginning of the season he perceived that Řezníček was throwing goals at opponents. “But I only saw the footage so I thought, oh yeah, he got the ball into the box, he was in the right place and he scored. I had in my head that he is a player in the box, who finds the ball and scores a goal,” says the former first league footballer.

Then when he saw the thirty-six-year-old shooter on Letná during the fight with Sparta, he just stared. “I was surprised at how well he’s moving. He was pressing, grinding. Apart from the top three, all clubs would probably like him. I think that for him, when he scored nineteen goals, there is no way to play in the second league,” the expert sees Řezniček further in the top competition.

He can understand that the players probably care about Brno, but he can also be a little angry at Zbrojovka. “He toiled, but the management didn’t bring in the kind of players to save the competition. He can also say to himself, yes, we were relegated and I was still dragging it on my old knees with nineteen goals. So if I were in his role, if an attractive offer came, for example from Slovácko, I would go.”
