Results – Week 35 Premier League Standings: Everton, Fulham and Nottingham Win in a Match Full of Goals

TEMPO.CO, JakartaPremier League results on Tuesday, 9 May 2023, featuring three matches in Week 34. Everton, Fulham and Nottingham Forest all won in matches that were colored by goals.

Everton won 5-1 when competing at home to Brighton. The win took them out of the relegation zone.

Abdoulaye Doucoure scored two goals in the first half. Brighton goalkeeper Jason Steele scored an own goal and Dwight McNeil added two more for Everton in the second half. Brighton only won one goal through Alexis Mac Allister.

Everton won its first win in the last five matches. The Merseyside club left the red zone and moved up to 17th place with 32 points from 35 matches, two points clear of the teams in the relegation zone.

For Brighton, this defeat has not dashed hopes of competing in European competition next season. They sit seventh in the standings, which is the Conference League zone, with 55 points from 33 games.

In the match, the rain of goals also occurred when Fulham won 5-3 over Leicester City. Willian and Tom Cairney both scored two goals for Fulham, which was complemented by Carlos’ goal.

At Leicester, Harvey Barnes scored two goals. Another goal was scored by James Maddison from the penalty spot. Another opportunity failed to take advantage of because Jamie Vardy failed to score against Fulham from the penalty spot.

Fulham bounced back after three straight games continued to lose. They are in 10th place in the standings with 48 points.
