Ajax, real

The flow of rumors about a possible departure of Jurriën Timber and Mohammed Kudus seems to be increasing. After several top clubs from the Bundesliga and Premier League have already shown interest, Real Madrid is now also aiming for the arrival of the pair. Real Madrid has been closely monitoring the activities of both Timber and Kudus for some time and, according to Spanish media, is considering making an offer next summer.

Of course, Real Madrid also knows that both Ajax players have a departure wish, especially now that a ticket for the Champions League is a long way off. Kudus hoped to leave Ajax last summer, but was held to his contract by the club. The Ghanaian attacker has managed to put himself in the spotlight of the European top clubs through an excellent World Cup and hopes to benefit from this new status. The 22-year-old attacker was already in the interest of Everton, Newcastle United and Manchester United, but now has an option with Real Madrid.

Agent Jennifer Mendelewitsch left earlier The Telegraph know that her client is ready for a transfer: “I think it is best for both Ajax and Mohammed that he makes a transfer now. This is the right time.” In April, Kudus had the option of extending his contract, which now runs until mid-2025, by a year with Ajax: “He has ignored a proposal to extend his contract until the summer of 2026.” The agent did not want to comment further on the interest of clubs, but there is a chance that Kudus will close the door behind him at Ajax next summer.

The same also applies to Timber. The defender has also been in the interest of foreign top clubs for some time, but has never really expressed a desire to leave via the media. Nevertheless, it is assumed in Amsterdam that the 21-year-old defender will be untenable next summer. Now that Ajax is in danger of missing out on a ticket for the Champions League, Timber probably wants to leave to be able to act at the highest level elsewhere. The fifteen-time international, like Kudus, has a contract until mid-2025 and is also in the strong interest of Napoli, where he is in the picture to succeed Kim Min-Jae, who in turn is in the interest of Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
