Lyon, Bayonne and Toulon will compete for the last qualifying spot for the final stages of the Top 14.
A breathless Top 14 2022/2023 to the end. One day before the end of the season, five teams are already certain of competing in the final stages of the championship, three others are vying for the last qualifying spot.
Stade Toulousain and Stade Rochelais are already guaranteed to be in the semi-finals of the championship. The Rouge et Noir have 76 points, against 74 for the Maritimes. Thanks to its big victory against Toulon (43-7), Racing 92 jumped up the standings and temporarily took third place in the Top 14. Above all, with 66 points, the Ciel et Blancs have already qualified.
The defeat without defensive bonus of the RCT also qualified Stade Français (64 points) and Bordeaux-Bègles (63 points) for the Top 6. Only one place remains to be taken. And three teams still in contention.

Lyon, Bayonne and Toulon can indeed still grab the last qualifying spot. Note however that the bets will be made and the LOU officially qualified at the end of this 25th day in the event of victory, this Sunday (9 p.m.), on the lawn of the Stade Français. Otherwise, it will be necessary to wait for the final day of the regular phase.
In case of success or draw of Paris against Lyon, it will be necessary to wait until May 28 to know the identity of the ultimate qualifier. The RCT will receive the UBB, while the LOU will host Aviron Bayonnais in what may be THE match for the final phase.
Montpellier (9th) and Castres (10th) can still dream of qualifying for the next Champions Cup.
