After the regular League in Second B, the draw for the first playoff for promotion to the First Federation was held this Monday at the headquarters of the Spanish Federation.
After what Arenteiro, Sestao, Teruel, Antequera and Melilla achieved direct promotion as group champions, today the playoff qualifiers for promotion to the bronze category have been drawn, in which the teams classified between second and fifth place (both inclusive) of the five Second B groups participate .
A conditional draw because the teams that have played the league in the same group cannot face each other in these qualifiers. In the semifinals, drawn today, the five fifth classified of each one of the groups face against the five seconds, while the five quarters are measured against the five third parties, pairings that will be decided by draw.
The ten winning teams of this first round will play the promotion finals, which will also have to be drawn.
In the event of a tie on goals in the sum of the round-trip matches, both in the semifinals and in the finals of this playoff, an extension will be held. If at the end of extra time the match is maintained, the team that would have obtained the best position in the regular phase will be proclaimed the winner. There will be no option, therefore, of penalty shootouts.
