At least two people were injured after an incident Friday afternoon at Diamond Baseball Stadium in the Lake Elsinore area of Riverside County.
According to the Riverside Fire Department, the two people suffered moderate injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital.
The incident was reported around 4:20 p.m. in the 500 block of South Diamond Drive.
The Riverside Fire Department confirmed a gas leak. Gas company workers are arriving on the scene.
The Lake Elsinore Storm baseball team announced via its Twitter account that tomorrow’s games will be canceled due to the incident.
Authorities confirmed that there were no fans in the stadium and no evacuations were carried out in nearby areas.
