More Ultra Líneas Aéreas has managed to meet and improve the requirements of the feasibility plan that it presented to the State Company of Industrial Participations (SEPI) to be able to benefit from the rescue during the pandemic, as reported this Tuesday.

Specifically, the company has specified that its sales revenues have increased by around 62 million euros (+40.44%) between 2021 and 2022 and that the deviation of the gross operating profit (Ebitda) is -0.9 % with respect to the net amount of the turnover for the year 2022. It also stands out that it has a cash position 66% higher than that of the feasibility plan.

The airline has attributed this improvement to the opening of new routes and the consolidation of existing ones, as well as the growth of sanitary cargo charter operations from China to Spain and other countries.

The company’s marketing has also improved due to the expansion of geographic coverage after the opening of new offices in Italy, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Bolivia, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile and Mexico, as well as the implementation of new distribution agreements. in more than 500 points of sale.

The adverse effects of the increase in fuel prices, inflation and devaluation in the markets where the company operates have been partially mitigated through cost control and the adoption of commercial measures, which have alleviated more than 25 million euros. , as explained by the company in a statement.

The airline has valued that these results show “the firm will of the airline to consolidate itself as a reference company in Spanish aviation”, showing “its competitive nature compared to its peers in the rest of Europe, contributing to the development of the Madrid Barajas operations center and the growth of a strategic sector for the national economy.
