Paris-Saint-Germain: the new Poissy training center opens its doors in July

Where is the Poissy Campusthe nouveau training center of Paris Saint Germain ? Good news for the Parisian club, the 74 hectare complex installed in the Yvelines is ready to welcome the jfirst team players from this summer, in the month of July 2023 ! This project, born in 2016, was disrupted by the health crisis and the site had been delayed, but it is now able to see Mbappé and his friends train before the official matches!

After the summer break, professional footballers will be able to start using the state-of-the-art facilities campus, joined in January by women and the training center. For’official inaugurationwe will have to wait until autumn, with the presence of Nasser Al-Khelaifi and Jean-Claude Blanc, former club general manager. On the program of this huge space, balneotherapy, a medical area, a huge weight room, catering and video rooms, a dozen training grounds and rooms on site, not to mention the panoramic terrace with a view of the capital.

Thanks to the campus, the youngest will be able to grow up in contact with professionals and Paris-Saint-Germain can finally come together in one and the same place, without going into exile at the other end of Île-de-France. And the construction site is not finished yet, a second phase will begin in 2024, to install infrastructure dedicated to judo and handball. A 3000 seat stadium must also emerge from the ground by 2028, to eventually host the home matches of the women’s and the U19 team. Suffice to say that Paris-Saint-Germain has not finished taking the lead.
