He Recreational IES La Orden He once again gave his own name to a Spanish Championship and in Seville he won three podiums this weekend.
The biggest protagonist was one more year Pablo Abian. The Aragonese conquered his 16th consecutive national title, something never seen in national badminton, defeating Álvaro Leal in the final 21-15 and 21-9. The bronzes went to Ernesto Baschwitz and Tomás Toledo.
Abián was also gold with Huelva Haideé Ojeda in the mixed fold. They beat the duo formed by Rubén García and Lucía Rodríguez 21-15 and 21-14. The bronzes went to Carlos Piris-Beatriz Corrales and Jaume Pérez-Claudia Leal, both from Rinconada.
Ojeda also climbed to the podium in the women’s doubles, where she teamed up with her partner from Recre IES La Orden Laura Santos they were silver when they fell in the final against Beatriz Corrales and Paula López by 21-9 and 21-15. The couples Clara Azurmendi-Ania Setién and Nerea Ivorra-Claudia Leal kept the bronze.
The Seville capital brought together more than 150 athletes in a triple date with the best national rackets with the dispute of the Absolute Spanish Championship, the Spanish Parabadminton Championship and the Final Phase of the National Inclusive Circuit promoted by the Sanitas Foundation.

The former took the lead but the duo of Segura and Redondo reacted and managed to come back.
