A gold medal in the women’s individual modality with María Yulieth Pérez, a silver in the women’s doubles with Luisa Fernanda Valero y Pérez, a bronze in the men’s doubles with Nicolás Morales and Stiven Pulgarín and another bronze in the mixed doubles with Morales and Pérez, was the balance obtained by the Quindío Badminton League in the II National Valid held over the weekend in the municipality of Yumbo, Valle del Cauca.
With these medals, the delegation improved the results of the I Valida, in which they obtained two medals -silver and bronze-.

“We have already passed the Yumbo page, now the chapter of Quindío continues to open. We start on Thursday in the department, we are going to have the participation of more than 100 high-performance athletes from the older category, taking into account that it is the last individual qualifier and the only one for teams, so all the regions have to come to this one because in Yumbo some were missing”, said Hugo Morales, a badminton strategist from Quindío.
The event will take place at the Coliseum of the University of Quindío from May 4 to 9 from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
