Nicholas Jarry continues to add victories at Roland Garros. This time he did together with the Swiss Marc-Andrea Huesler to prevail in the doubles by 6-3, 6(4)-7 and 6-3 to the couple made up of the Brazilian Marcelo Demoliner and the Italian Andrea Vavassori.

The duel began in a favorable way for the couple that integrates the Chilean. in the sixth game they managed to get the first break, which allowed them to take the first set of the match without complications by a clear 6-3.

Of course, in the second the situation was a little more complex. A break in the second game allowed their rivals to go ahead on the scoreboard by 0-2, although this point was recovered in the fifth, which allowed them to continue involved in the duel.

Thus, the party had to extend until the tie break, where Demolier and Vavassori were more precise and reached two mini-breaks to equalize the duel, taking the second round 7-6(4).

In the final set Jarry and his partner were able to seize the first break chance in the second game to put themselves ahead on the scoreboard. From that moment it was enough for them to keep serving and not risk anything else to seal the victory with a new 6-3 that left them installed in the second round of the doubles.

Now, for the move to the round of 16, they will have to face the winner of the match between the Croatian Ivan Dodig and the American Austin Krajicek against the Argentines Sebastián Báez and Guillermo Durán.
