NFL: Dexter Lawrence secures his future with the Giants

Dexter Lawrence has agreed to a four-year contract extension with the New York Giants. The contract could net him up to $90m and $60m is guaranteed, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

This agreement therefore makes Lawrence the third highest paid defensive tackle in the NFL.

The 25-year-old played in 16 games last season, registering 68 tackles, 7 tackles that caused fumbles and 7.5 quarterback sacks.

A native of Wake Forest, North Carolina, Lawrence played with Clemson at the college level, before being selected 17th overall in the 2019 draft by the Giants.
