Stan Wawrinka (ATP 84) was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Challenger tournament in Bordeaux. The Romand lost to the Frenchman Ugo Humbert (ATP 50) 5: 7, 1: 6. Wawrinka kept up well in the first set. Only when the score was 5:6 did he have to give up the decisive service game. The second set was then a clear affair for Humbert. The day before, the 38-year-old Wawrinka had made people sit up and take notice when he clearly defeated the Scotsman Andy Murray (ATP 42) 6: 3, 6: 0 in a duel between two Grand Slam winners. For Humbert it is the 2nd semi-final in a row at a Challenger tournament.
