New NFL Schedule: Kansas City Chiefs to start vs. Amon-Ra St. Brown – US-SPORT NFL FOOTBALL

Clarity for NFL fans.

The schedule for the new season was released on Thursday. Now it is not only clear which teams have to get to the start. German fans can already look forward to a highlight.

Because: The Kansas City Chiefs open the NFL season on September 7th with a home game against the Detroit Lions for the German-American Amon-Ra St. Brown (23).

Amon-Ra St. Brown on “Touchdown24”: “I am very happy about this game plan. Playing the opening game of the new season is very special for me. Beating the Chiefs as the current champion also has a special appeal for me.”

Amon-Ra St. Brown didn’t come to the NFL until 2021. He was drafted by the Detroit Lions in round 4. 16 wide receivers were picked ahead of him in the draft.

The Chiefs last played against the Lions in September 2019 (34:30). Four of the six duels so far have gone to the current Super Bowl winner.

What’s next after that? The defending champion around the stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce will be playing in Germany for the first time on November 5 and will meet the Miami Dolphins in Frankfurt am Main. The Philadelphia Eagles, who lost to the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, will open against the New England Patriots on September 10th.

Jakob Johnson from Stuttgart will also meet the Denver Broncos away with the Las Vegas Raiders on September 10th. St. Brown’s brother Equanimeous plays with the Chicago Bears against his former team, the Green Bay Packers. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who left the Packers after 18 years, will play his first round game for the New York Jets on September 11 in front of his home fans against the Buffalo Bills.
