NBA playoffs: Boston wins 116-99 in Miami and avoids the coat – Basketball

(ANSA) – ROME, MAY 24 – Driven by Jayson Tatum’s 33 points, the Boston Celtic won 116-99 in Miami in game 4 of the Eastern Conference final in the NBA, avoiding the humiliation of the coat and keeping hopes open despite the Heat leading 3-1. Three more consecutive victories will be needed to turn the situation around, a feat never achieved by those who found themselves down 3-0.

The game was decided in the third quarter when Tatum scored 14 points to put his team on the run thanks to a 38-23 run. The gap then widened, also thanks to an excellent percentage in shots from distance from the Bostonians, while the Heat did not go more than 25% from the arc and the only one who stood out in the home team was Jimmy Butler, with 29 points and nine rebounds. Thursday, in Boston, the Celtics will try to stretch, but for the Heat there will be a new opportunity to reach the Denver Nuggets in the final for the title. (HANDLE).
