Crisis of confidence in PSG. Hundreds of supporters gathered, Wednesday, May 3, in front of the headquarters of the Parisian club but also in front of the home of Neymar, in the Yvelines, to express their dissatisfaction.

According to several videos posted on Twitter, several supporters dressed in black gathered in front of the home of Neymar, injured until the end of the season, in Bougival (Yvelines), chanting “Neymar, break up”.

“Paris Saint-Germain condemns in the strongest terms the intolerable and insulting actions of a small group of individuals that took place this Wednesday,” reacted the club in a press release broadcast Wednesday evening.

“Whatever the disputes, nothing can justify such acts. The club gives its full support to its players, its management and to all those affected by this shameful behavior.”

These events took place three days after the defeat against Lorient at the Parc des Princes (1-3), the third for the Parisian club in the last four matches played at home.

Late Wednesday afternoon, supporters gathered outside the club’s headquarters in Boulogne-Billancourt chanted “We’re fed up with mercenaries! We have to fire Messi! We have to fire Nasser (al-Khelaïfi, the club’s president) “, “Direction resignation” or even “Paris, it’s us”.

Some, smoke bombs in hand, expressly cited players like Lionel Messi or Neymar and held up signs calling on players to “wet the shirt”.

“Catastrophic management in recent years”

“PSG: who are you? Where are you going? Can you hear me?”, also wondered the Ultras on a banner.

“We are sincerely concerned about the future and sustainability of our club,” said in a press release the Collectif Ultras Paris (CUP)wondering “if there is still a pilot in the plane”.

According to the CUP, “the athlete is in total drift and this is due in particular to recruitment at a discount and without a global vision of collective needs”. The collective criticizes the “catastrophic management in recent years which has offered gold bridges to mercenaries, to overrated and little concerned players”.

PSG opened disciplinary proceedings on Tuesday against its Argentine star, Lionel Messi, who will be suspended for several days, after a trip to Saudi Arabia made without the agreement of his club.

The Ultras have also expressed their refusal to leave the Parc des Princes, while the club has positioned itself for a possible takeover of the Stade de France.

Monday evening already, the day after the defeat against Lorient, some supporters had gathered in front of the Camp des Loges training center, with banners “No one respects you anymore. Why would we do it?” or “You do not represent our city in any way”.
