Louis Seychal takes the lead

At the end of the dressage test, Louis Seychal and Bakar de l’Océan LA took the lead in the provisional classification of the third stage of the Grand National, this afternoon at Lion-d’Angers. With an excellent score of 75.63%, or 24.4 penalty points, they are ahead of Astier Nicolas, who obtained 26.1 in the saddle on Alertamalib’Or, and Karim Laghouag, third with Embrun de Reno (26.8) . In fourth place are Anouk Canteloup and Daniel del Impermeable (28.27), followed by Gwendolen Fer and Romantic Love (29). Julie Simonet and Christopher Six are respectively six and seventh with 29.5 and 29.6 over the young Elton des As and the Olympic Totem de Brécey, just Thibault Fournier eighth with Siniani de Lathus (29.8 points). These eight riders all obtained an average of more than 70%, which demonstrates real progress in dressage on the part of French completists, moreover after a sequence where the most experienced pairs raced at Badminton and especially at Chatsworth.
