LIGUE 1 – Transfers: Manchester United would have started discussions with Neymar

If officially PSG has never mentioned a transfer of its Brazilian striker, the reality on the ground and behind the scenes could give Neymar desires elsewhere, who has not however expressed it for the moment. The 31-year-old Brazilian, currently recovering, had been heckled by some ultra supporters who came to express their dissatisfaction in front of his house in Bougival (Yvelines).

Paris OK for a free loan?

Under contract with Paris until 2027, “Ney” drags with him a monthly salary of around 3.6 million euros gross, a sum which did not allow Parisians to find takers last summer, when they were open to a transfer. But this time, several Premier League clubs, the richest championship, would have started to look closely at this file.

According to L’Equipe, the most advanced discussions would be with Manchester United. The Red Devils, deprived of C1 this season, should return to competition next year. After the somewhat disappointing recruitment of Antony last season, the Mancunians would like to strengthen their offensive sector. Casemiro would even be playing the intermediary in order to push his compatriot to join him at Man U.

But given the Brazilian’s value on the market and his staggering salary, the most suitable solution could be a free loan for which United would cover Neymar’s entire salary. An appointment would in any case be scheduled for the next few days between the entourage of the Brazilian and the football adviser of PSG, Luis Campos.

The Ligue 1 leader will also have to deal with the very likely departure of Lionel Messi. An equation with several unknowns which should refocus the Parisian project a little more on Kylian Mbappé.
