Premier League relegated Leicester City will lose the first of possibly many players.
Midfielder Youri Tielemans announces the decision not to extend his expiring contract with the “Foxes” in a video on Instagram. This means that the Belgian will be able to move to a new club free of charge in the summer.
Leicester signed the now 26-year-old from Monaco in 2019 for 45 million euros. Since then, the former super talent has made 195 competitive appearances for the club, scoring 28 goals and providing 26 assists.
Tielemans has been linked with several teams in recent months. There is great interest in the Belgian national player, with Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal FC and AS Roma all set to fight for his signature.
