As good and versatile as basketball star LeBron James is, the Lakers’ success requires the entire squad – despite its deficits. The focus is therefore currently on another player.
IIn a league where all players are paid the last penny of their negotiated wages, no matter how often they play or sit on the bench, the man with the Los Angeles Lakers three on his jersey is something of a number for themselves. Certainly, other players in the NBA occasionally miss extended periods of injury. Among them recently such prominent ones as Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard or Klay Thompson. When it happens, there’s no telling whether they’ll be playing basketball as well as they did before.
But she doesn’t have that ugly suspicion that Anthony Davis has when he takes a break. That he, the 2.08 meter tall, talented center, doesn’t torture himself enough, but rather takes a break as soon as it hurts just a little.
