Kareem Jackson agrees to return to the Denver Broncos for another year

Although the financial details of the agreement were not disclosed, it was revealed that it is an agreement for one season.

He added that he believed the defense had a “great core that is ready to take the next step.”

The head coach of the Broncos, Sean Paytonsaid during the draft that the defensive coordinator Vance Josephwho was an assistant to the Texans during Jackson’s time with the team, he would employ a 3-4 defensive scheme that is “similar to last year.”

Jackson he shined last season with a career-high 94 tackles. And, in a campaign in which the Broncos they were handicapped by a number of injuries, overall –22 players were on injured reserve during the season finale of the campaign–, Jackson was the only player in the defense of the Broncos to start, and finish, all the games.

He played in 1,139 snaps last season, a career high.
