Judo World Championships in Doha: Timo Cavelius is eliminated

For him it is currently going up steeply: Timo Cavelius, judoka from Hof. In three major international tournaments he was able to secure three medals, two bronze and one silver. Now he has also taken part in the Judo World Championships in Doha, in the class up to 81 kilograms. In the third round, Timo Cavelius had to admit defeat against the Japanese Olympic champion. He is now eliminated from the tournament. Previously, however, Cavelius was able to prevail against two opponents. He got the first victory of a German World Cup starter in the men.
