Second round in the women’s judo school cup and LMM in the general class in Dornbirn
On May 13th, the second round of the Vorarlberg Judo School Cup was held in Dornbirn.
74 judokas took part, 24 of them from the UJC Hohenems who were divided into groups of 2, 3, 4 or 5 according to their weight. For many it was the first “real competition” after the experiences at the Judo Randori tournament that takes place annually in Hohenems. In the team ranking we were able to defend our 2nd place and extend our lead over the 3rd place.

After the student cup, the national team championship for women took place in the general class. The team from Hohenems Johanna LAMPRECHT (-52 kg), Doris KAUFMANN (-57 kg), Rita MÜLLER (-63 kg) and Sarah WOLFGANG (-70 kg) won third place. The winners of the tournament this time were the women from the Judo Club Montafon ahead of the Judo Club Dornbirn.
