Joel Embiid traded to the Lakers? The proposed blockbuster deal that would rock the league!

Disappointing in these playoffs with the Sixers, Joel Embiid did not at all justify his new status as MVP. As a result, some journalists are already seeing him pack his bags before the 2023-24 fiscal year and one of them has outright suggested a delusional exchange set up with the Lakers. Just that !

I don’t see how they could get anyone good without Davis being involved. The other guy I think is still a possibility is Embiid. I could see Joel Embiid going there, he doesn’t want to be traded, but if he did… For me, it would be an obvious choice. And I don’t know if that’s enough, the Lakers don’t have anything else to add on Davis’ side because they practically traded their entire team at the trade deadline. I think everyone will come back and try to figure out Kyrie Irving’s role in all of this.

As crazy as the idea sounds, an anonymous GM recently said that Philly would only trade its reigning MVP against a superstar and if he’s often injured, AD easily meets that criteria. It remains to be seen whether GM Daryl Morey would really be ready to part with the best player in the franchise for many years. On the fan side, we have already started to imagine a concrete package for Los Angeles:
