The match between JFC “Jelgava” and “JFK Daugava/Salaspils FS” took place at the Jānis Lūša Stadium of the Zemgale Olympic Center on May 27. All three goals for the Jelgava team were scored by Richard Jurgensons (pictured). Unfortunately, in the last minute of the game, the opponents managed to score the decisive goal and advance to the next round of the cup competition.
Today, the 2nd stage pair draw took place, and 24 teams from three different leagues will continue to participate in this stage. The games are scheduled for June 10 and 11, and then the playoff round will follow – six teams will be determined in it, which will join the Super League teams, including “FS Jelgava”, in the round of 16. The round of 16 is scheduled for July 15 and 16, the quarter-finals are scheduled for August 19 and 20, the semi-finals – September 20, the final – October 25.
