It’s a sports festival at the Sandro Pertini hotel in Brindisi

BRINDISI – Next Thursday (May 25) ‘Alberghiero Sandro Pertini of Brindisi takes the field in the park of the “Il Cesare Braico” school to celebrate Sport in the winning dimensions of play, health and inclusive well-being. Promoted by the Institute directed by Professor Cosimo Marcello Castellano – with the support of the Regional and Territorial Area Offices – the party will have as protagonists in the role of players students and students of first and second degree secondary schools, accompanied by their tutors / teaching coaches of physical education in challenge on: team sports (football, volleyball, basketball, baskin), table football tournaments, badminton, table tennis, vortex throwing.

Not just sport… In an integrated path of orientation towards the design of life and success, the School opens up to the demonstration and sharing of talent in the laboratories of food science, foreign languages, ICT, energy transition of supergreens, vocational disciplines of food and wine and tourist hospitality through the “play” of words – Kahoot and crosswords – social Instagram stories – and a “healthy” and energetic taste essay of smoothies and snacks prepared by students.

At the opening, greetings from the Headmaster, Cosimo Marcello Castellano, from Dr. Giuseppe Silipo Director General USR Puglia, from Dr. Mario Trifiletti Head of Office I USR Puglia, from Dr. Tiziana Di Noia USP Manager of Brindisi, from Dr. Giantommaso Perricci Referent USR Puglia on the School, Sport and Disability Project, of Mr. Giuseppe Pinto President Cip Puglia.

The day will end with the awarding of the participants, all winners for their inclusive spirit of play and relationship in a process aimed at contributing to the diffusion and strengthening of motor and sporting activity in the school, to support scientific food education and correct life among students, to promote outdoor education, with all its benefits.

This is the vision of the Sports Festival which, in the words of the Headmaster, “aims to be an opportunity for the Sandro Pertini Institute of Brindisi to return to healthy sociality in synergy with the PNNR actions to prevent and combat early school leaving in the area”.
