Italian judo championship, Marisol Salvadori bronze medal among the under 21s

The one achieved by Marisol Salvadori last Sunday at the Lido di Ostia where the Italian A1 under 21 Championships were held is truly an important result. Marisol in fact conquered a very heavy bronze medal in the category up to 78 kg after a very difficult competition fought with grit and determination. The new federal formula which provides for three phases for each age group to compete in the Italian championships, with the last one, namely the A1, which brings together only the best national athletes, gave no alternatives, every match would have been very difficult from the start. After her debut with a defeat Marisol was able not to lose heart going up the poule to then get to play and win the final for the bronze medal. It’s an important prize for her who in recent months had also tried her hand at the senior class in the Italian cup, also reaching the final for the bronze in that case, but losing it and what a defeat she had also come out of as a cadet a few years ago. After so many bitter pills this is a bronze that repays constancy and determination and the many daily sacrifices to reach Treviso from Mestre where you live. A bronze that also gratifies all Judo Treviso already protagonist with the under 18s a few weeks ago. The next appointment will be the Genoa Grand Prix with the cadets, but above all the Trophy that Judo Treviso organizes in Ponzano Veneto on 10 and 11 June during which, in addition to hosting the regional phases of the CONI trophy for the under 13s, the qualification for the Italian Team Championships and the 1st 2nd and 3rd dan Grand Prix, a real end-of-year party will also be organized for the youngest judokas of the whole region.
