Yes, Super Mega Baseball 4 supports cross-platform play between PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, Nintendo Switch, And PC.

Here is the full quote from the official FAQ.

Cross-platform matchmaking in EA SPORTS™ Super Mega Baseball™ 4 lets players step up to the plate against opponents across multiple platforms to keep competition fresh. Players on the following platforms can play against each other in Pennant Race and Online Leagues: PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. Players using the EA App will be able to participate in cross-platform matchmaking when it launches on that platform at a later date. 

This means that you can play with your friends regardless of the platform you are on pennant racing And Online Ligen. With the exception of EA Play, all platforms enjoy crossplay support as it will not be released alongside the Steam release.

Note, however, that crossplay is only limited to pennant racing And Online Ligen. Players cannot play together in other multiplayer modes outside of their console family (Xbox, PlayStation, etc.). Here is the relevant part of the official FAQ that explains this.

In online multiplayer modes other than Pennant Race and Online Leagues, players will not be able to play against those on other platforms (outside of their own console ecosystem), meaning that PlayStation players cannot play against Xbox Players, PC players cannot play against Switch players, etc.
